The portrayal of the medieval France and the city of Jerusalem was considered to be a brilliant technical accomplishment. some other characters such as Balians father (Liam Neeson), Tiberias (Jeremy Irons) and the king (Edward Norton) were successful in assuming their roles.They indeed envisioned an authentic characterization for a medieval knight.
